Expand local operations to the greater metro area

The Lindenwood Rx Center is a pharmacy located in the East New York section of Brooklyn, New York. They have been serving the neighborhood for over 20 years and were woven into the fabric of the community. They wanted to expand their services beyond their Brooklyn community and become a contract pharmacy within the 340B program working with covered entities.

While they had minimal 340B experience, and limited marketing capacity, they were willing to do whatever was necessary to expand their business operations to the Greater New York Metropolitan area.

SOLUTION

Comprehensive Marketing and Rebranding Program

Our program started with a rebranding. This included creating a logo which they didn’t have previously. This would be emblazoned on all collateral and packaging moving forward. We also created a slogan and new marketing materials in multiple languages.

The next phase was to recruit, hire, train, and develop an outside sales force. A team of six representatives was hired with healthcare sales experience and a network of contacts. The team would report to our Managing Director, Andre’ Vanterpool, who served as the Director of Sales and Marketing until one could be identified from within the sales team.

The third phase was to expand their delivery service to reach the greater New York City area. Additional drivers were hired, and company vehicles were rebranded with the new logo.

RESULTS

Business Growth and 340B Contracts

By implementing this multi-phase strategy, Lindenwood Rx Center was able to service individual and institutional accounts in the Greater New York City area and became a trusted and valued contract pharmacy partner to more than 15 covered entities during the initial phases of the rollout and continues to grow and develop more contracts and relationships.
